Milo, Crabbe Selected to Train with US National A2 Team

MALIBU, Calif. - Sophia Milo and Kekai Crabbe of the Pepperdine women's volleyball team have been selected to train with the US National A2 Team this summer announced by USA Volleyball Tuesday morning.
For Milo, this will be the second time in her career she has been selected from the open tryouts held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., after receiving an invite a year ago. For Crabbe, this will be her first stint with the team.
This year the team will train in New Orleans, La., beginning on May 22. The A2 Team will spend a week together under head coach Mary Wise before competing in the Women's Open Division of the USA Volleyball Adult Open Championships at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from May 27-30.
The two Wave student-athletes will be joined by 10 other collegians. Pepperdine along with Wisconsin and Florida each placed two athletes on the A2 team.
The Waves are coming off a 19-12 season where they finished second in the West Coast Conference and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after defeating BYU and USC in the first and second rounds, respectively.
