Tim Jensen is a veteran member of the Pepperdine women's volleyball program and completed his 15th season as an assistant coach in 2013.

Jensen is involved in several aspects of Pepperdine volleyball, including practice planning, conditioning, recruiting and scouting.

During his tenure in Malibu, which began with the 1999 season, the program has compiled an overall record of 305-131 (.700), including a 165-53 (.757) West Coast Conference mark. In the 15 seasons since Jensen's arrival, Pepperdine has earned 11 NCAA Tournament berths, advanced to the NCAA Regional Semifinals four times, the Regional Finals twice and finished top-10 in the AVCA rankings on five occasions.

Seven student-athletes have garnered AVCA All-American status a combined 12 times while Jensen was on staff including Jamie Hill (1999, 2nd team), Katie Wilkins (2001, 2nd team; 2002, 2nd team; 2003, 1st team), Julie Rubenstein (2008, 3rd team), Kim Hill (2009, honorable mention; 2010, honorable mention; 2011, 1st team), Kellie Woolever (2011, honorable mention; 2012, 3rd team), Jazmine Orozco (2012, honorable mention) and Becca Strehlow (2013, honorable mention).

Prior to Pepperdine, Jensen served as the head coach for the varsity and junior varsity boys' volleyball teams at Campbell Hall High School in North Hollywood, Calif. During his nine seasons, Campbell Hall advanced to the semifinal round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs in four consecutive seasons (1995-98). For his efforts, Jensen was named the Los Angeles Daily News Coach of the Year in 1998.

Numerous athletes under Jensen went on to take part in collegiate volleyball, most notably Dylan Herrick, who played outside hitter at Pacific.

In addition to his volleyball coaching duties at Campbell, Jensen served as head coach for the football program (1995-97), leading his squad to the Southern Section playoffs in 1995 and 1996. He was also a history teacher.

Jensen serves as owner/director/head coach of the Beverly Hills-based Sports Shack Volleyball Club, a position he has held since 1993. The goal of the club is to develop a comprehensive program committed to providing instructional supervision in a disciplined environment. Sport Shack Volleyball Club is one of the largest in Southern California, with Jensen overseeing a staff of 20 employees that service 18 different teams in various age groups.

Jensen has coached numerous Sports Shack Volleyball Club teams to top-five showings at national tournaments, including a first-place finish at the 1999 Davis Volleyball Festival in the 16-Under division. His 18-Under division squad claimed its first title at the Reno Volleyball Festival in 2005 with a perfect 28-0 record and posted a runner-up finish at the 2000 Davis Volleyball Festival and a third-place showing in 2001.

His 18-1 team captured the gold medal in back-to-back seasons in 2010 and 2011 at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships - a tournament considered to be the one of the toughest and most prestigious in the club circuit.

During Jensen's 20 years heading one of the nation's premier club volleyball programs, he has helped develop and guide young women to successful collegiate careers at all levels of NCAA competition. Several former members of Sport Shack have gone on to win national titles and All-American accolades at many of the nation's top collegiate programs.

A native of Pacific Palisades, Jensen graduated from Campbell Hall High in 1987 where he was a three-sport athlete, competing in basketball, football and volleyball.

Jensen was selected Campbell Hall High's Student-Athlete of the Year in 1986 and 1987. A first team All-Delphic League pick in both football and volleyball, Jensen helped Campbell Hall advance to the CIF Southern Section playoffs in volleyball during the 1986 and 1987 seasons.

A 1991 graduate of Arizona, Jensen earned his bachelor's degree in sociology and communications studies.

Jensen and his wife, Lee, have a son, Axel McKee, and a daughter, Grace Montgomery. They reside in Ventura.
