Women's Tennis Continues Success at NCAA Championships

This is the fifth-consecutive season that a Waves' doubles pair has reached the NCAA Doubles Championships Sweet Sixteen.

Stefani, Runglerdkriangkrai, Cutura and Maddox will represent the Waves.


Waves Advance to NCAA Elite 8 with 4-0 Sweep over Texas

This is the fifth time all-time the Waves have reached the NCAA Elite 8 and first since 1994.


Pepperdine Downs USC 4-2 to Advance to NCAA Sweet 16

This will be the 15th-time in Pepperdine history, the Waves have reached the NCAA women's tennis sweet sixteen.


Waves Advance to NCAA Second Round with Sweep over Idaho

Tomorrow's match will mark the 29th time in 35 seasons that the Waves have reached the NCAA second round.

CAREER: Through two seasons is 22-13 in singles (17-6 in duals) and 23-14 in doubles (16-9 in duals) ... Represented the Waves at the 2015 NCAA Doubles Championship alongside Matea Cutura and reached the second round ... Member of the 2014 squad that won a program record 15 dual matches in a row

PEPPERDINE 2014-15: All-WCC first team selection in doubles ... Went 20-10 in singles overall, and 16-5 in dual matches ... Won 10 of the last 11 matches in straight sets ... Posted a team-best 21-9 doubles record, including a 16-9 mark in duals ... Picked up All-Tournament honors in both singles and doubles at the conference championships ... Posted three straight-set wins at the WCC Tournament, allowing just nine games total ... Also went undefeated in doubles at the league tournament ... Went 7-4 in singles from the No. 5 spot in the lineup and 9-1 at No. 6 ... Ranked as high as #21 in doubles alongside Christine Maddox and ended the year at #25 ... Ranked #5 in the region ... Defeated Memphis' #37 Alyssa Hibberd/Anki Wind, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the opening round of the NCAA Doubles Championship ... Twice named WCC Doubles Team of the Week alongside Cutura (2/24, 3/17) ... Went 15-4 alongside Cutura ... Won 11 in a row with Cutura, including two wins over top-30 pairs ... Defeated #28 Robin Anderson/Chanelle Van Nguyen of UCLA, 6-3 (2/27) ... Defeated Cal's #11 Zsofi Susanyi/Klara Fabikova, 6-3 (3/14) ... Went 12-1 with Cutura at No. 2 and 2-2 at No. 1 ... Ranked #57 with Michaela Capannolo in the ITA fall doubles rankings ... Went 2-4 in singles and 3-2 in doubles during the fall season ... Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete ... WCC All-Academic first team honoree ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "silver" honors.

PEPPERDINE 2013-14: Posted a 2-3 singles record as a freshman ... Went 1-1 from the No. 5 spot in the lineup ... Went 1-4 in doubles, including a 1-1 mark in tournaments ... Played at No. 1 in the doubles lineup with Lorraine Guillermo ... Topped Kaitlyn Christian 7-5, 3-6, 10-7 of then-#6 USC (1/30) ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "silver" honors.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jim and Laurel Maddox ... Father also attended Pepperdine ... Chose Pepperdine because "it is known for its fabulous sports and academic programs. I really liked the coaches and the team. It also happened to be close to home with a beautiful location and a small student population."
