USA VOLLEYBALL: Became the first athlete, male or female, to win both the FIVB Youth World Championships and the FIVB Junior World Championships in the same year in 2010, going a combined 14-0 over both tourneys ... That unprecedented dual feat helped earn her the 2010 USA Volleyball Beach Female Athlete of the Year, the first time the award was ever given to a junior player ... Nominated for the United States Olympic Committee SportsWoman of the Year in 2010 ... Distinguished herself as arguably the best junior beach volleyball player in the world during the 2010 season ... Made history when she and Jane Croson became the first U.S. team to win the gold medal at the FIVB Youth (Under-19) World Championships on Aug. 1, 2010 in Porto, Portugal ...
