PEPPERDINE 2013: Transferred to Pepperdine to play sand volleyball in January 2013 after playing two seasons of indoor volleyball at Nebraska ... AVCA Sand Volleyball All-American ... Partnered with Caitlin Racich at the No. 2 spot in the lineup ... Posted a 24-5 record together ... Went 19-1 in dual play ... Went 3-0 during the team portion of the AVCA National Championship ... Clinched the team win vs. Florida State (3/14) with a 15-21, 21-14, 16-14 win vs. Aurora Davis and Fatma Yildrim ... Dished an ace at match point for the win ... Tallied a season-high 19 kills vs. Cinnamon Sary and Katie Fuller of USC (3/26) ... Picked up a season-best 27 digs in that same match ... Surpassed 20 digs on three occasions ... Averaged 6.11 digs/set and 5.57 kills/set ... Played one match with Kelley Larsen at No. 2 vs. Grand Canyon (3/15) and won ... Represented the Waves alongside Racich at the 2013 AVCA Collegiate Sand Volleyball Pairs Championship but fell in the first round ... Reached the semifinals of the gold bracket at both USAV Collegiate Challenge events in 2013.
NEBRASKA 2012: Helped Nebraska to a 26-7 record and an appearance in the NCAA Regional Finals ... Totaled 371 digs as a sophomore for a 3.09 digs/set average ... Surpassed double-digit digs totals on 23 occasions and met the 20+ dig plateau three times ... Picked up a season-best 24 digs against Michigan (11/2) ... Saw action in 32 matches and 120 sets ... Credited with a kill vs. Minnesota (10/14) and Michigan (11/2) ... Tallied 24 total aces and registered two aces in a single match on six occasions ... Distributed six assists against Notre Dame (8/26) ... Totaled 50 assists on the season.
NEBRASKA 2011: Led the Huskers to a 25-5 record and an appearance in the NCAA Regional Semifinals ... Set the NU freshman single-season digs record with 399 and finished second on the freshman single-season digs/set list with 3.59 ... Averaged 3.59 digs, 0.33 assists and 0.14 service aces per set ... Recorded 15 or more digs eight times in 2011 ... Appeared in all 30 matches ... Opened the season with one of her most impressive matches, recording 28 digs against New Mexico State in helping the Huskers to a 3-2 win ... Reached double figures 22 times, including her season-high performance against New Mexico State ... Recorded a season-best two aces twice in 2011, with the last coming at Iowa, in helping the Huskers clinch their first Big Ten title ... Ranked third on the team in service aces.
USA VOLLEYBALL: Placed ninth alongside Rebecca Strehlow at the 2010 FIVB Beach Youth World Championships in Portugal ... Represented the USA at the 2008 FIVB Youth/Junior World Championship in the The Hague, Netherlands ... Played alongside Strehlow at the 2013 FIVB U21 World Championships in Umag, Croatia.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Redondo Union High School and enrolled at Nebraska in January 2011 ... CIF Division I-AA Player of the Year in 2010 ... Made the Under Armour Girls' High School All-American watch list ... ESPN RISE Volleyball All-American honorable mention ... Led high school squad to a Harbor League title in 2010 with a 29-8 record and carried team to the state semifinals ... Played indoor club volleyball for Sports Shack, and won the 2010 USAV Girls' Junior National Championship.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Lisa and Joe ... Has three sisters, Jenna, Devon and Skylar, and one brother, Joey ... Father played basketball at Western Illinois and was a ninth-round draft pick for the Phoenix Suns in 1983. Later went on to play professionally in Europe ... Jenna played collegiate volleyball at Davidson ... Devon and Skylar both played indoor volleyball for UCLA ... Brother Joey played volleyball for USC for two seasons before turning to professional beach volleyball ... Chose Pepperdine because "I wanted to be a part of a great sand volleyball team, get a great education and be closer to home" ... Majoring in creative writing ... Hopes to play professional beach volleyball after college while writing for a magazine.
