In 2010 she was named WCC All-Academic honorable mention and was named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar for the second-straight year. Garcia is also a three-time WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "gold" honoree. The senior has started all 20 games for the Waves this year and has netted three goals. She was named All-WCC honorable mention.

Stockman (Sandy, Utah/Brighton HS), a sports medicine major, was named honorable mention for the second-straight year. She is a three-time WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "bronze" selection.

This is the second-straight season that Pontes (Houston, Texas/Clear Lake HS), a sports medicine major, has been named to the second team. She is a two-time WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll selection and was named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar in 2010.

Payetta (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach HS) is an honorable mention selection for the second-straight season. DeGrandmont (Portland, Ore./Jesuit HS) is earning her first All-Academic selection as a pre-business administration major. The sophomore was named the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll as a freshman.

All six student-athletes played big roles in the Waves' success on the field this season. The WCC champion squad will take to the pitch on Saturday (Nov. 12) in a first-round NCAA Tournament game, as it hosts Long Beach State at 1:30 p.m. PT.
