Lacey Ubaldi Scores Two Goals To Lead No. 7 Pepperdine To 4-0 Win Over No. 22 Auburn

Senior forward Lacey Ubaldi scored two first-half goals to spark No. 7 Pepperdine to a 4-0 victory over No. 22 Auburn in the opening match of the UNLV / Fila Classic Friday evening at Peter Johann Memorial Field in Las Vegas.

The win was the third in a row for the Waves and upped their season record to 4-1 on the season. It also marked the fourth time in five contests that Pepperdine has posted a shutout.

Auburn suffered its first loss of the year and fell to 3-1 on the year.

Sophomore forward Megan Woods and freshman forward Jennifer Brewer also scored for the Waves.

Pepperdine concludes play the UNLV / Fila Classic on Sunday when it faces Virginia Commonwealth beginning at 2 p.m.
