Na's Run at U.S. Public Links Ends in Quarterfinals

NESHANIC STATION, N.J. - Pepperdine junior Grace Na's terrific run at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship came to an end on Friday in the quarterfinals.

Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) won her first three times in match play but finally bowed out with a 3&1 loss to Ashlan Ramsey at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course.

Over the previous two days, Na defeated Lauren Diaz-Yi (1-up), Lea Garner (4&3) and Kristine Odaiyar (5&4). In stroke play at the start of the week, Na tied for 28th place with a 1-over 145.

Na is a two-time All-American and a two-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year. In her two seasons, Na's career stroke average of 73.98 is good for fourth all-time at Pepperdine.
