Waves Move Up To 11th Place After Day 2 Of Arizona Wildcat Invitational

Led by sophomore Carolina Llano's 1-over par 72 on Tuesday, the Pepperdine women's golf team moved up a spot to 11th place after two rounds of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational being contested at the par-71, 6,238-yard Arizona National Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona. The Waves have a 36-hole score of 633 heading into Wednesday's final round.
Vanderbilt currently leads the team competition after carding the day's lowest round of 6-over par 294. UCLA (582) is second place followed by first-round leader Ohio State (584), California (591) and UNLV (601).
Individually, Vanderbilt's May Wood, Ohio State's Allison Hanna and California's Sophia Sheridan are tied for first place with 2-under par scores of 140. Courtney Wood of Vanderbilt and UCLA's Hannah Jun are one shot off the lead at 1-under par 141.
Junior Rachel Kyono is among a group of seven players tied for 31st with 12-over par scores of 154. Llano is tied for 38th with a total of 155.
