MALIBU, Calif. – Former Pepperdine standout Kelsey Patrick will take her skills to the professional level after signing to play overseas with BCT Alexandria (Romania). The four-year letter-winner for the Waves turned in the best season of her career as a senior, averaging 9.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game during West Coast Conference play.

“I am humbled and grateful for the life experiences that basketball has given me,” Patrick said. “I am extremely excited for this opportunity and ready for a new experience! I can't wait to see some parts of the world that I've never seen before and to continue to play this game that I love. A big thank you to everyone for the support and prayers!”

One of just two three-time WCC All-Academic selections in program history, Patrick (Mukilteo, Wash./Kamiak HS) led the Waves in overall rebounding (5.5) in her final collegiate season and was second in scoring (8.0). Patrick recorded the first two double-doubles of her career with 18 points and 11 rebounds at Saint Mary’s (1/19/13) and a 13-point, 13-board effort at San Francisco (2/28/13). The 13 rebounds against the Dons were a career-high and the most by a Wave in 2012-13.

Patrick equaled her career scoring high twice with 18-point efforts on the road against the Gaels and at San Diego (1/26/13). She emerged as a threat from 3-point range during league play, connecting on .373 (19-51) from beyond the arc. Patrick drilled a career-high five triples at Saint Mary’s and hit for four at home against the Gaels.

Patrick will team with former Santa Clara standout Ashley Graham on BCT Alexandria.
