Reyes Zaragoza is in his first season as the director of basketball operations for the Pepperdine women's basketball program.
Zaragoza manages the day-to-day operations of the basketball program including scheduling practices, team travel, equipment, and video compilation and breakdown. He previously served as a graduate assistant with the Pepperdine women's basketball staff in 2013, also assisting with video exchange and equipment managing, as well as practice planning.
Prior to his time working with the Waves' staff, Zaragoza worked in the Pepperdine HR, Insurance and Risk department as an office assistant.
Zaragoza, a 2013 Pepperdine graduate, was also a team manager for the women's basketball program as an undergraduate student and served as a practice player for the Waves for three seasons. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in business administration in 2013.
While a student at Pepperdine, Zaragoza held several internship positions including working as a sales and marketing intern for ABC7 and as an intern for U.S. Congressman Silvestre Reyes in Washington D.C.
