Scott Wong Named to USF Women's Staff

Wong earned a degree in business administration from Pepperdine in 2001 and a master’s degree in education from Loyola Marymount in 2005.
While coaching for four seasons as assistant coach at Pepperdine under Marv Dunphy, Wong helped lead the Pepperdine to an 82-26 record (.759), two MPSF titles, an NCAA Championship title and a runner-up finish at the 2008 National Championships. His coaching responsibilities with the Waves included overseeing the development of the setters, outside hitters and middle blockers, while also coordinating the team’s defense.
Wong recently returned from the 2009 Pan American Cup in
“I don’t feel like we’re losing him,” said Dunphy. “He will always be a part of the history of Pepperdine men’s volleyball.”
