Waves Fall to No. 7 Stanford


 
 

PALO ALTO, Calif. – The No. 15 Pepperdine men’s tennis suffered 6-1 loss to No. 7 Stanford on Friday afternoon at the Taube Tennis Center.

 

Stanford captured the doubles-point with wins on courts 2 and 3. No. 26 Omar Altmann (Cairo, Egypt) and Bassam Beidas (Cairo, Egypt) defeated No. 28 Richard Wire and Blake Muller (Stanford) 8-6.

 

No. 44 Beidas was the lone singles winner for the Waves on court 2 with a victory over No. 47 Bradley Klahn (Stanford) 6-4, 3-6, 10-5, on court 2.

 

Pepperdine travels to Berkeley to play California on Sunday at 12 p.m., in the Hellman Tennis Complex.
