No. 4 Men's Tennis Faces LMU on Wednesday

Malibu, Calif. - The No. 4 Pepperdine men's tennis team will conclude its nine-match home stand on Wednesday, February 8 when it faces LMU in a West Coast Conference (WCC) match at 1 p.m. at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, Calif.

The Waves remain undefeated at 8-0, while LMU stands at 1-4 after four straight losses to Hawai'i, Wisconsin, San Francisco and San Diego. The Waves have never lost against the Lions as they lead the series 22-0.

LMU finished fifth in last year's WCC Championships and finished the season 12-11. Leading the Lions this year is Nico Terrien and Mike Wojnarowicz, who both earned honorable mention singles selections among the All-WCC honors.

The Waves, who recently recorded wins over Cal Poly and Wisconsin to continue their win streak, moved from a No. 5 national ranking to a No. 4 ranking, it was released today.
