WCC Championships Second Round Results in PDF Format
The Pepperdine men's golf team shot a 7-under par 281 during second round play of the West Coast Conference (WCC) Championships on Monday and leads the tournament after 36 holes of play at the par-72 7,101-yard Riverbend Golf Club in Madera, California.
The Waves are currently 7-under par with a two-round score of 569 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Pepperdine holds a seven-shot lead over Saint Mary's and San Francisco, who are tied for second place with a 1-over par total of 577.
San Francisco holds the first two spots in the individual standings as Roberty Frye holds a 1-shot lead over teammate Tyler Pitt. Fye, who shot a second round 8-under 64 is at 10-under 144.
Junior and defending champion Michael Putnam is in third place with a 7-under par total of 137. Putnam opened with a 66 before shooting a second-round 71.
Sophomore Alex Coe is tied for ninth with an even-par 144.
