General Jim Hackler Invitational Final Results in PDF Format
Senior Brian O'Flaherty carded a final-round 1-under par 71 to tie for 10th place at the General Jim Hackler Invitational that concluded on Monday at the par-72, 6,950-yard TPC of Myrtle Beach in Murrells, South Carolina.
O'Flaherty finished the tournament with a 54-hole score of 6-over par 222 to finish eight shots off the lead. The senior All-American shot rounds of 74-77-71.
After shooting and opening-round 316, Pepperdine fired back-to-back rounds of 8-over 296 to place ninth with a 44-over par total of 908.
Host Coastal Carolina captured the team title with a 22-over par score of 886. The Chanticleers shot rounds of 298-284-304 to finish five shots ahead of Notre Dame (891). Purdue (895) was third while Kansas State (900) and Louisville (901) rounded out the Top 5.
East Tennessee State's Preston Brown claimed individual medalist honors with a 2-under par score of 214 to post a one-shot victory of Coastal Carolina's Dustin Johnson and Notre Dame's Shane Sigsbee.
Pepperdine freshman Michael Baird registered a Top 20 finish as he tied for 18th with a 10-over par score of 226.
The Waves are next in action on Monday, March 21, when they travel to Eugene, Oregon, to compete in the Oregon Duck Invitational.
