No. 19 Pepperdine Tied for Fourth at General Jim Hackler Invitational

Senior Alex Coe carded rounds of 70 and 71 is currently in fourth place with a 3-under par score of 141 after two rounds of the General Jim Hackler Invitational that is being played at the par-72, 6,950-yard TPC of Myrtle Beach in Murrells, Inlet, South Carolina.

Coe is two shots behind East Tennessee State's Rhys Davies, who is at 5-under par 139 and holds a one-shot advantage over teammate Jordan Findlay and Notre Dame's Scott Gustafson.

Pepperdine, which is currently ranked No. 19 nationally, is tied with Kansas State for fourth place with a 13-over par total of 589. The Waves carded rounds of 297 and 292.

East Tennessee State holds the second-round lead with a 1-under par 575 and holds a 5-shot lead over host East Carolina (580). Florida State (588) is third, one shot in front of Pepperdine and Kansas State.

Pepperdine sophomore Michael Baird is tied for 12th with a 2-over par score of 146.

The tournament concludes with third-round action on Monday.
