The General Jim Hackler Invitational, presented by IMIC and hosted by Coastal Carolina University, was suspended during the second round of play, due to darkness at the TPC of Myrtle Beach on Monday. Play will resume at 9 a.m. on Tuesday with the completion of the second round and the entire third round.

Pepperdine, ranked No. 31, leads the field of 19 teams at 292 and No. 18 Wake Forest is in second, five shots back at 297.

Wake Forest's Bill Haas, son of PGA Tour veteran Jay Haas and the top-ranked player in the nation according to GolfWeek, is tied for the lead with Pepperdine junior All-American Michael Putnam and Virginia's Kevin O'Connell at 2-under par 70. Five players are tied for fourth at 1-under par 71.
