The 22nd-ranked Pepperdine men's golf team shot an 18-over par score of 302 on Thursday and is 13th place after two rounds of the University of Hawaii-Hilo Intercollegiate that is being contested at the par-71, 6,777-yard Waikoloa Village Golf Course in Kona, Hawaii. The Waves have a 36-hole score of 11-over par 579.
Third-ranked Georgia Tech has a commanding lead on the 16-team field as the Yellow Jackets are 21-under with a score of 547 and hold a 14-shot over No. 2 Oklahoma State heading into Friday's final round. The Cowboys are at 7-under 561.
USC is in third place with a 3-under par score of 565 and is followed by Washington and Hawaii, who are tied for fourth place with 4-over par totals of 572.
Georgia Tech's Cameron Tringale is the individual leader after two rounds with a 10-under par total of 132 and holds a two-shot lead over Oklahoma State's Pablo Martin, who is at 8-under 134.
Three players are tied for third with 5-under par totals of 137.
Senior Alex Coe is the top individual for Pepperdine with a 1-under par score of 141 and is among a group of five players tied for 18th.
The tournament concludes with the final 18 holes on Friday.
