Jan. 28, 2013
Unofficially, the Waves were at 19-over according to Golfstat, with each of their players still needing to finish a hole or two. The rest of the second round, along with the third and final round, will be contested on Tuesday at the par-71 Golf Club of Vistoso.
The Waves were also in ninth place after the first round, in which they shot a 13-over 297. The top scores of the first round were turned in by junior Parker Page (Louisville, Ky./Ballard HS), whose 1-over 72 put him into a tie for 19th place, and sophomore Kevin DeHuff (Coto de Caza, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic HS), whose 2-over 73 had him in a tie for 22nd.
Golfstat shows Page and DeHuff both at 2-over for the tournament and in a tie for 18th place when play stopped.
Page had a team-high four birdies during the first round, while DeHuff and junior Jeremy Sanders (Chatsworth, Calif./New Community Jewish HS/Univ. of Redlands) each had three.
