THIS YEAR: Cody Horning begins his fourth season at Pepperdine . . . A redshirt junior . . . One of five juniors on the Waves' roster . . . Good ball-handler and has shown in the past the ability to score from the perimeter. 2005-06: Appeared in 19 games and started two...Averaged 1.3 points and 2.3 rebounds a contest...Shot 34.4 percent from the field and 22.2 percent from the foul line...Scored two points and had four rebounds against UC Irvine...Had two points and a rebound at Dayton...Scored a season-high five points and had two rebounds at Wisconsin...Totaled a season-high eight rebounds at UC Santa Barbara...First start of the season came at Colorado State...Made second start of the season vs. Cal State Northridge...Scored five points, grabbed six rebounds and had two steals versus San Diego. 2004-05: Saw action in seven games and averaged 1.1 points and 0.7 rebounds a game while averaging 5.1 minutes a contest . . . Playing time was limited due to a concussion and knee injury that sidelined him for a total of 19 games . . . Played two minutes and had a rebound against East Carolina . . . Logged six minutes and had a rebound, assist and steal versus Siena . . . Hit a three-pointer in nine minutes of action against Fairleigh Dickinson . . . Missed four games due to a concussion and returned to practice prior to the Bradley game in mid-December before suffering a knee injury . . . Returned to the line-up versus Gonzaga on February 10 and had three points, a rebound and an assist in a season-high 13 minutes of action. 2003-04: Appeared in 21 games and started one . . . Averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds a contest . . . Shot 31.0 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from the foul line . . . Made collegiate debut versus Colorado (11-24), played 22 minutes and scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds . . . Contributed six points, one rebound and two assists at San Diego (1-17) . . . Tallied five points versus San Diego (2-12). 2002-03: Redshirted during the 2002-03 season, but practiced with the team on a regular basis . . . Pepperdine compiled an overall record of 15-13, including a 7-7 mark in West Coast Conference (WCC) play . . . The Waves earned a first-round bye in the WCC Tournament and fell to Saint Mary's in the second round of the conference tournament.
