JACK ROSS, 6-0, 185, OF (Palma HS) Why Ross Chose Pepperdine: “I chose Pepperdine because of the great coaching staff, the beautiful location, its outstanding business program and its great baseball tradition.” Coach Rodriguez on Ross: “Jack is a baseball player. Plain and simple. He plays the game the way it is supposed to be played. He is a quiet young man who will make the people around him better by how he works. He has a family history here at Pepperdine, so he is going to be a perfect fit in all aspects both on and off the field.” AN INSIDE LOOK AT ROSS
Sporting event you would most like to attend: I would like to attend a World Series Game 7, in New York between the Giants and the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. What is your most exciting/thrilling moment in your sports career? Hitting a walk off home run against Salinas High School my junior year. What do you want to accomplish on and off the field at Pepperdine? Win a West Coast Conference Championship and make it to the College World Series. I want to gain a reputation of not only a great player but also a great person. |
