Sever and Vincej were an integral part of the Waves' run to the WCC title.
The award winner will be named on June 30 as part of College Baseball's Night of Champions.

2012/JUNIOR: Vincej was the 2012 recipient of the Brooks Wallace Award, given to the nation's top collegiate shortstop by the Collegiate Baseball Hall of Fame ... Was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Year and All-WCC first teamer ... CollegeBaseballInsider.com All-American honorable mention, ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove award, ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region second team ... Appeared in all 59 games at shortstop for the Waves ... The only other player to appear in all games was his double-play mate, second baseman Joe Sever ... Batted .339, collected 23 RBI from his leadoff position ... He also tallied a team-high 18 doubles, tied for first in the WCC ... His 82 hits were third best in the conference and second best on the Waves ... 2011/SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 53 of Pepperdine's 56 games, starting 52 at shortstop, and hit .194 with 18 runs, eight doubles, a triple and 21 RBI that ranked third on the team ... Batted .302 (13-43) with runners in scoring position and .375 (3-8) with the bases loaded ... Stole six bases in as many tries ... Swiped second base five times and third base on one occasion ... Tied for first in the West Coast Conference with 14 hit by pitches and tied for fourth with four sacrifice flies ... Helped turn 52 of the team's WCC-leading 71 double plays, and ranked second to teammate Joe Sever with 192 assists ... Completed six of those twin killings during weekend series vs. Gonzaga (5/20-22) ... Tied a pair of career highs during the month of March, ripping three hits at East Carolina (3/5) and scoring two runs in 9-1 win over Dayton (3/25) ... 2010/FALL: Drove in the series-winning runs during the one-inning tiebreaker (11/14) after the series ended in a 2-2-1 deadlock ... Slapped a two-run single off Brian McIlhenny and later stole third base ... Batted .250 (4-16) in the series with two runs and three RBI ... Drew two walks, was hit by a pitch and dropped down two sacrifice hits ... Reached base four times in game one's (11/6) 5-5 tie and scored the game-tying run from third base on an error by the Orange Team's shortstop ... Was gunned down at home in the third inning as part of a 9-2 double play.
2010/SUMMER: Played and started all 55 games for the Anchorage Bucs of the Alaska Baseball League ... Hit .247 with a team-leading 12 doubles plus a triple and home run ... Drove in 25 runs and stole 15 bases in 17 attempts ... Also scored a team-best 24 runs and was hit by nine pitches ... Hit .310 (26-for-84) with runners on base and had success advancing runners 50 percent of the time.
2010/FRESHMAN: WCC Honorable Mention and member of the WCC All-Freshman Team ... Batted .292 through 33 games with a home runs, six doubles and 11 RBI during his first year as a Wave ... Scored 17 runs, dropped down five sacrifice hits and stole three bases in five attempts ... Hit .323 (10-for-31) with runners in scoring position ... Missed the first month of the season due to injury and eventually made his collegiate debut at shortstop during the Stony Brook series (3/26-28) ... With second baseman Joe Sever, helped turn the second triple play in Pepperdine history and its first since 1985 during a 9-8 loss at Cal Poly on May 18 ... With runners at first and second, caught a line drive off the bat of Bobby Crocker and flipped the ball over to Sever covering second base ... Recorded 10-multi hit games, including a pair of three-hit outings during a three-game series at Gonzaga (4/17-18) ...
