Former Wave student-athlete Emanuel Sifuentes has filled a variety of roles for the Pepperdine baseball program: an undergraduate assistant coach in 2011, the director of baseball operations in 2012 and volunteer assistant coach in 2013.

Sifuentes appeared in 31 career games for the Waves and in 2010 batted .316, including .500 (6-12) as a pinch hitter.

A native of La Puente, Calif., Sifuentes graduated from Bishop Amat High School where he was a 2006 All-San Gabriel Valley and All-Serra League first-team selection.

Sifuentes was a religion major and graduated in the spring of 2011.
