THIS YEAR: Paul Coleman begins his senior season at Pepperdine . . . One of six seniors on the Waves' roster . . . Performed both as a reliever and starter during career . . . 2004: Finished second on the team with 31 appearances . . . Appearance totaled tied for the fifth most in school history . . . Worked strictly out of the bullpen and posted a 2-1 record and 7.32 ERA . . . Pitched 55.1 innings, allowed 92 hits, 49 runs (45 earned), walked 19 and struck out 58 . . . Pitched a season and career-high four innings at UC Santa Barbara (5-11) and at Santa Clara (5-16) . . . Struck out a career-high six batters in game against the Gauchos . . . Pitched an impressive 2.2 innings of relief at Loyola Marymount (4-30) as he struck out five batters.

2003: Appeared in 25 games, all in relief, and registered a 1-4 record, 4.80 ERA and one save . . . In 30.0 innings of work, allowed 37 hits, 16 earned runs, walked 14 and struck out 19 . . . Made collegiate debut versus UC Santa Barbara (2-9) and earned first career win after pitching one inning, allowing four hits, one run and striking out one . . . Pitched a career-high 3.2 innings, allowed seven hits, five runs (four earned), walked one and struck out one at Cal State Northridge (3-25) . . .
