2002: Appeared in 20 games, all but four in relief, and registered a 4-2 record with a team-best 3.26 earned-run average and a team-high four saves . . . Pitched 58.0 innings, allowed 57 hits, walking 21 and striking out 55 while limiting opposing batters to a .254 average . . . Established then career-highs for innings pitched and strikeouts . . . Worked in nine games and went 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA in WCC play . . . Pitched first career complete game (7 innings) at Texas A&M . . . Allowed eight hits, walked one and struck out a career-high seven in a 2-0 victory over the Aggies . . . Equaled career-high for innings pitched versus San Diego after working seven innings, allowing seven hits, two runs, walking one and striking out a then career-high tying seven in a 4-3 win.

2001: Posted a 4-1 record, two saves and 6.75 earned-run average in 18 appearances . . . In 24.0 innings, allowed 31 hits, 18 earned runs, 20 walks and struck out 18 . . . Made collegiate debut versus Nevada (2-4) and pitched 2.0 innings, allowed two hits, walked two and struck out one . . . Notched initial college win versus Saint Mary's (3-9) after pitching one inning of relief in a 3-2, 10-inning victory . . . Earned first career save versus Saint Mary's (3-10) after pitching 3.1 innings, allowing four hits, one earned run, walking one and striking out one in an 11-7 victory . . . .Initial college start came at Cal State Northridge (3-28) where he lasted just 0.1 inning and surrendered five hits, seven earned runs, walked two and struck out one . . . Pitched a career-high four innings and earned a win versus Cal State Northridge (4-17) . . . Allowed four hits, one run, walked one and struck out four batters . . . Pitched 3.0 innings of relief, struck out a career-high five batters and earned the victory versus San Diego State (5-8).

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered at Rancho Buena Vista High in Vista, California . . . A second team All-Palomar League selection following senior campaign . . .
