Eighteen student-athletes earned All-American honors and 51 were all-conference.
The nine WCC schools put a total of 1,093 student-athletes on the list from the 13 sports that the conference sponsors, which is another new conference record.
A pair of seniors led the Waves to their respective finish lines, just as they've done for the majority of the season.
Lauren Lodge, a senior who was the Waves' top finisher at last weekend's WCC Championships, is the first Pepperdine woman to earn three-time first team all-academic honors.
Pepperdine will close out cross country season at the NCAA West Regional, hosted by Stanford, on Saturday, Nov. 12.

As a junior, was one of only two Waves to compete at all five regular-season meets and the WCC Championships, where he was Pepperdine's second-fastest runner in 27:42 (8K) ... Recorded his best 8K of the season at Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational, finishing the course in 26:14.3 ... Pepperdine's No. 2 runner and 37th overall at the 8K Vanguard Invitational (27:31).

Recorded a season best 8K of 26:31 the following weekend at the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner Invitational (9/26).
PEPPERDINE 2008: Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "bronze" honors ... Raced six times as a freshman, missing only the team's trip to Hawai'i ... At the Pepperdine Invitational (10/4), recorded both his highest finish as a Wave (sixth place) as well as a season best 8K mark of 28:00.74.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Woodbridge High School, located in Irvine, Calif., in 2008 ... Graduated with honors ... A three-year varsity letterwinner for head coach George Varvas ... Was part of two teams that won the CIF Southern Section title in 2005 and 2006 ... Named Most Dedicated and Team MVP following his senior year ... Career best marks include a 15:33 in the three-mile run, a 10:22 in the 3200 and a 4:36.4 in the 1600 ... Named to the Principal's Honor Roll four consecutive years.
