Cross Country 2012 Season Preview

Both the men's and women's teams had large graduating classes depart the program.

PEPPERDINE XC 2012: Appeared in five races as a freshman ... Was Pepperdine's #3 finisher at the Mark Covert Classic and UC Riverside Invitational ... Best 5k was 20:29.8 at the Mark Covert Classic and best 6k was 23:52.5 at the UC Riverside Invitational.

PEPPERDINE TRACK 2013: Competed at seven of eight track meets as a freshman ... Was Pepperdine's only competitor to take on the 3,000-meter steeplechase ... Ran it four times, with a best of 12:24.05 at San Francisco State (3/29) ... Also ran the 400-meter hurdles three times, with a best of 70.69 at Pomona-Pitzer (4/13) and the 3,000 meters once (an 11:36.71 at Cal State L.A. on 4/6) ... Ended the season ranked #2 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and #5 in the 400-meter hurdles on Pepperdine's all-time top five lists.
