Jonathan Rahaeuser and Hayley Lytle led the Waves.
Portland is the host in 2012, while the Waves will host the meet in 2013.
The Waves are getting ready to run at the West Coast Conference Championships this Saturday morning (Oct. 27) at Fernhill Park in Portland, Ore.
This was the final tuneup for the Waves' top runners before the West Coast Conference Championships.

PEPPERDINE XC 2012: Named WCC All-Academic honorable mention for the second time as a junior ... Ran in four meets ... Was the team's #3 runner at the Stanford Invitational and was #4 on the other three occasions ... Best 5k was 19:42.05 at the Northridge Collegiate Invitational and best 6k was 24:05.7 at the UC Riverside Invitational.

As a freshman, competed at the last two regular season meets at Santa Clara and Cal State Fullerton ... Finished the course at Fullerton with a season-best 5K mark of 20:16.4 to finish fourth among all Pepperdine runners ... Completed the Santa Clara course in 20:32.4.
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2013: Competed only once as a 2013 junior ... Ran the 3,000 meters at Northridge (3/16) in 11:27.30.

PEPPERDINE TRACK 2011: Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete ... Competed three times for Pepperdine in the 1500m run as a freshman and posted a season best of 5:35.16 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational.
