HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Santiago High School, located in Corona, Calif., in 2012 ... Ran two years of varsity cross country and track (800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters) ... Was a two-time winner of the coach's award in cross country ... School won a Big 8 League title.
PERSONAL: Born in Boise, Idaho ... Daughter of Kimi and Scott Vollmer ... Has two siblings, Tyler and Cameron ... Her father was a member of Pepperdine's 1992 national championship baseball team and went on to play professionally fo five years ... Majoring in sports medicine ... Also an accomplished figure skater who was a silver medalist in novice pairs at the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, and a member of Team USA at a 2009 event in Poland ... Works as a figure skating coach at her local ice rink ... Chose Pepperdine because "my father graduated from Pepperdine and I have been going there almost my entire life to watch baseball games. Pepperdine also has some amazing academic programs and classes that I can't wait to experience."
