ACADEMIC AWARDS: Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "silver" honors as a freshman ... Named a Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete as a freshman.
PEPPERDINE TRACK 2014: Competed at seven meets as a freshman ... Ran the 1,500 and 5,000 meters multiple times ... Had bests of 4:16.20 in the 1,500 (Pomona-Pitzer, 4/12) and 16:12.54 in the 5,000 (UC Irvine, 3/21) ... Also ran the 800 once (2:13.14 at Cal Poly, 3/29) and the mile once (4:22.57 at Riverside CC, 3/8).
PEPPERDINE XC 2013: Ran at six meets as a freshman ... Finished first among the Waves at the first two meets of the season, including the Pepperdine Invitational ... best 8k time came at the Bronco Invitational (25:59.5).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate from Cheyenne Mountain High School, located in Colorado Springs, Colo., in 2013 ... Ran two years of varsity cross country and two years of varsity track ... Earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior ... Team won state championships in cross country and track in 2010 ... Was an AP Scholar with honors and president of the National Honor Society.
CLUB: Was an AAU All-American his junior year.
PERSONAL: Born in Spokane, Wash. ... Son of Stephen and Debra Fox ... Has two brothers, Jacob and Matthew ... His brother Jacob ran cross country and track at Middlebury College ... Majoring in biochemistry ... Chose Pepperdine because "it's a lovely, small school in the perfect location with the necessary academics, and I will be happy there."
