Jennifer Kehoe joined the Pepperdine staff in the Fall of 2010 as the Waves' head cheerleading coach. Kehoe brings more than 10 years experience in both cheer and gymnastics to the program.
"We're excited to welcome Jennifer into the Pepperdine family," said Events and Promotions Coordinator, and Cheer Advisor Kevin Borzenski. "She understands the Mission of the University, and she will prepare our cheerleaders to not only support our teams, but to also become ambassadors of Pepperdine University at athletic, University, and community functions. With her background and experience in cheerleading, we have no doubt that she will continue to grow the Pepperdine Cheer Program."
Kehoe will handle all aspects of the cheer program, including choreographing routines and cheers, managing practices and coordinating community service events.
Prior to coming to the Malibu campus, Kehoe spent four years as the head cheerleading coach at Santa Rosa Junior College where she coached and choreographed a squad of more than 20 members.
In addition to her responsibilities with the Bear Cubs, Kehoe also served as the Director of Coaching, Tumbling and Choreography at Elite Cheer -- a position she held for 10 years. She has lent her coaching expertise to Cap Henry Collegiate School, Central Coast Shockwave All Star Cheerleading and Central Coast Gymnastics Center, working with all age groups and skill levels.
