Dena Meiste came onto the staff as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in July 2010.

She is the PR contact for men's, women's and sand volleyball, men's and women's tennis and swimming and diving.

Before coming to Pepperdine she was a graduate assistant at DePaul University from 2008-10.

A native of Hamilton, Mich., Meiste started her college career at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Community College, where she was a pitcher for the softball team from 2003 to 2004. In 2007, she graduated with an undergraduate degree in communications from DePaul and in 2010, she received her master's degree in new media studies from DePaul.
