Katie Sniffen joined Pepperdine as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2013, and in August 2015 her title became Rehabilitation Coordinator.
She works with the men's volleyball, cross country, track and swimming and diving teams.
Prior to becoming a Wave, Sniffen was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Oregon, spending her two years working with the Ducks' football, women's lacrosse and club sports teams, while also teaching anatomy lab courses.
Sniffen graduated with her master's degree in athletic training from Oregon in June 2013 after completing her original research titled Healthcare Professionals' Rating of Athletic Trainers' Ability to Demonstrate Characteristics of Professional Quality.
Sniffen, originally from Modesto, Calif., received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Long Beach State in December 2010. She has also worked with Long Beach Armada Baseball, Long Beach State Ice Hockey and Marina High School.
