Stotsenberg Track is a state-of-the-art, Olympic-sized running facility located just above Eddy D. Field Stadium. The eight-lane, all-weather surface track is the training center for Pepperdine's women's and men's track teams. It is also used extensively on a daily basis by faculty, staff, students and community residents.
The facility was renovated in 1989 thanks to a donation of more than $300,000 by longtime Malibu residents and avid runners Dorothy and Ed Stotsenberg. The Stotsenberg's generous gift allowed for the complete renovation of the former dirt track area, which could become usable in times of inclement weather.
Stotsenberg Track was formally dedicated on Dec. 4, 1989, and served as the site of the Stotsenberg Races.
The facility is shared with Tari Frahm Rokus Field, home of the Pepperdine women's soccer team.
