Tied for fifth place at the WCC Championships (71-83-77=231) ... Tied for seventh place with a 7-under 209 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown (73-70-66) ... Her 6-under 66 tied the sixth-lowest score in school history, and her total of 7-under is the 11th best score ... Has played in various LPGA events, including a tie for 53rd at the Safeway Invitational in March 2007 and a spot in the 2006 U.S. Open ... Won the Monday qualifier at the LPGA’s SBS Open in February 2007 ... Has played in the last three U.S. Women’s Amateurs ... A three-time AJGA Rolex Junior All-American first teamer ... Has won six AJGA tournaments and finished second four times ... Rated among the nation’s top 10 juniors ... Tied for first at the Arizona Silver Belle Championship in December 2007 ... Led the 2006 U.S. Junior Team to a third-place finish at the Honda International Junior Tournament in Japan ... PERSONAL: Born in Plano, Texas ... Daughter of Richard and Tonnie Karle ... Has an older brother, Austyn, who is a fellow junior at Pepperdine and is a member of the men’s golf team ... Majoring in advertising ... Is an accomplished classical pianist ... Chose Pepperdine because “it has the best academic and athletic blend for me to be able to accomplish my goals, and with my strong faith I wanted to attend a religious university.”
