Scored 39 runs, which ranked him fourth on the team, and drove in 32, which was the team’s fifth-highest total ... Hit .300 against lefties and was 7-for-11 (.636) as a hitter with the bases loaded ... Against Wake Forest in the season-opening three-game series, batted .500 (5-for-10) with a home run, double, three RBI and two runs scored ... Hit his first career round tripper (a solo shot) against the Demon Deacons’ Brad Klezdik in the eighth inning of a 13-9 loss (2/23) ... Tied a personal best with three hits in an 11-4 win over UC Riverside (2/26), hitting two singles and driving a double to right center ...
