WAVEPOINTS

The Sports Information Department produces a weekly e-mail newsletter called "WavePoints" that details everything that's happening in Pepperdine Athletics. Major news releases will also be sent on occasion. Send an e-mail to roger.horne@pepperdine.edu if you'd like to be added to the e-mail list.

OFFICIAL BLOG

To provide an additional place for information about Pepperdine Athletics, the SID staff maintains an Official Blog, which can be accessed at either www.pepperdinesports.com/blog or pepperdinewaves.typepad.com.

INTERVIEW POLICY

For interviews with Pepperdine student-athletes, all outside media requests must go through the Sports Information Office first. Please give at least 24 hours notice to allow time to set up the interview around the student-athlete's schedule.

 

CREDENTIALING POLICY

The Pepperdine University Department of Athletics will credential only:

1. Originating radio and television personnel involved in an officially licensed broadcast of a Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletic competition.

 

2. Non-originating radio and television personnel producing reports on a Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletic competition that regularly and substantially report on Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletics, its opponent and/or the sport being covered.

 

3. Daily newspapers, wire services and national publications that regularly and substantially report on Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletics, its opponent and/or the sport being covered.

 

4. Officially recognized Pepperdine University student publications and electronic media outlets that regularly and substantially report on Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletics.

 

5. Online entities that regularly and substantially report on Pepperdine University intercollegiate athletics, its opponent and/or the sport being covered.

 

6. Sports Information personnel or representatives from Pepperdine’s opponents, the West Coast Conference office or the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation office.  

PEPPERDINE ATHLETICS MEDIA GUIDES

Media guides cost $10 each. To order any available media guides, please send a check payable to "Pepperdine Athletics" to the Sports Information Department at the address listed above. Media guides will be available for purchase for that season only, as long as supplies last.
