Courtesy: Pepperdine Athletics Anamika Bhargava advanced to the round of 16 in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles with partner Alexandria Walters, on Friday.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Pepperdine junior Anamika Bhargava advanced to the round of 16 in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles along with partner Alexandria Walters, at the ITA Women's Tennis College Regionals in San Diego, Calif., on Friday.

Bhargava defeated Bryanna Ljeda (UCSB) 6-1, 6-0, in the round of 32. Bhargava/Walters defeated Kinstler/Lao (USC) 8-6 in the round of 16.

Andrea Oates was eliminated in the round of 32 along with teammates Maria Zalameda and Arianna Colfer. Oates/Zalameda were defeated in the doubles round of 16.
