SKILLMAN, N.J. - Pepperdine tennis standouts
Bassam Beidas, Alex Llompart and
Alexandria Walters made the Campbell/ITA National preseason rankings released on September 4.
In men's singles Beidas is ranked No. 21 nationally, while teammate Llompart is No. 71. The duo is ranked No. 23 in doubles. Beidas finished his junior season at the 2009 NCAA singles and doubles tournament ranked No. 39 in singles and No. 8 in doubles with partner Omar Altmann. Llompart was ranked No. 120 as a freshman last season.
Walters was the only ranked Wave for the women's team. She finished the 2009 season ranked No. 91 in singles as a freshman.
The men and women Waves kick off their fall season on Sept. 18-20 at the Midland Invitational in Midland, Texas.
